About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Combat Support/Combat Service Support, Tactical and Maneuver Product Support Integration Directorate (PSID), Matrix Support. Responsibilities
Evaluate the cause of maintenance problems for corrective action or preventive measures.
Apply maintenance management concepts to program objectives.
Provide direction to customers regarding maintenance and/or sustainment issues.
Coordinate and/or schedule equipment distribution efforts with units/organizations.
Tactfully present controversial information to stakeholders.
Develop life cycle logistics plans for product support management.
Apply integrated product support elements to the life cycle management of systems.
Provide direction for acquisition or life cycle logistic strategies in areas of supply or maintenance.
Conduct detailed analysis of engineering designs for their impacts on logistics supportability.
Utilize logistics management concepts for maximizing reliability and maintainability of designs.
Develop contractual requirements for delivery of logistics technical data.
Coordinate, develop and manage Logistics Contracts.
Implement and maintain logistics configuration management of the equipment baseline and changes to the baseline that affect supply, maintenance and training.
Manage Interactive Authoring and Display System (IADS) and Diagnostics Software (D/S) integration.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing integrated logistics support plans that address the principal elements of total life-cycle planning; planning or developing logistics documentation in support of the Milestone Decision Authority; performing basic budgetary requirements for adequate logistics support of assigned systems; providing logistics support to test operations or evaluate problems and recommend corrective actions; conducting site visits to supporting installations; developing and managing logistics or sustainment contracts; and experience working in (co-located) or supporting a Product Manager (PM) Office. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2-R. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment.
