Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU) is a leading provider of telco specific solutions for 2G/3G/4G/5G networks to operators across the world and is looking for a Product Manager to cover both Telco Analytics across all wireless network domains (2G/3G/4G/5G) and the existing 2G/3G signaling portfolio.
Responsibilities include specification of technical requirements, management of product dimensioning, and product strategy definition. This person would also be responsible for technical interactions with our customers to understand their networks, business environments, issues, and needs, and provide compelling solutions for the challenges in the customer networks. The role requires working closely with both Sales Consultants and engineering leads to ensure the product meets the end user requirements.

Key Knowledge Areas include
At least ten year experience in product management or product development or product support.
Software performance and dimensioning principles for generation of customer configurations.
Familiar with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network architectures and protocols with strong emphasis in SS7.

Working with sales teams worldwide and engineering to define technical analytics and network security requirements to address security controls for Oracle s signaling and analytics product portfolios for use by downstream development and QA teams.
Collaborating with other teams to define technical requirements that span across products and organizations.
Owning and generating market-level technical requirements and supporting documentation.
Providing guidance in architectural decisions.
Supporting technical sales and marketing.
Supporting the associated Business Plans, Internal Plans of Record (POR), External Product Plans, External Roadmaps, Feature Commitment Tracking, RFF (Request for Feature) Process.
Supporting day-to-day processes of feature reconciliation, field trial determination, business case generation, RFx response input, and quote approval.
Understanding the competitive landscape and market opportunities for Oracle in this area and other Product Management duties as required.
Travel to work closely with customers and sales teams for technical/business assessment and analysis of new and existing business opportunities as well as support future product roadmaps based on technical/market requirements.
Position requires demonstrated leadership in and direct supervision of technical aspects of product planning activities. In the performance of these duties applicant will interface with Customers, Sales, Marketing, Product Line Managers, Product Security, R&D, Customer Service, Business Development, Manufacturing and Cross-BU Teams.
