Survey Crew Chief

WADE TRIM is a full-service engineering firm consistently recognized for our award-winning solutions. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Survey Crew Chief in our Flint, MI office.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of five years related experience of land and/or construction survey. A valid driver’s license is also required. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include:
- Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, construction stakeouts, etc.
- Interpret maps, plats, blueprints, and specifications
- Perform various survey calculations
- Organize and maintain survey documentation
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed
- Operate and maintain survey equipment
- Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients
- Research project information at County offices
- Assist Project Manager with contract requirements
- Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Attend seminars and/or training classes
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a clean work vehicle, in good condition
- Maintain a safe working environment
