Will you answer* GROUP/DIVISION The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. RESPONSIBILITIES KLA Ann Arbor seeks a creative and driven professional for the role of Business Intelligence Analyst to perform statistical analysis of business data and lead in building recommendations and plans for business actions, in support of the Spares and Service Supply Chain Organization strategic goals. * Create processes and systems by leveraging data and systems to increase efficiency through analytics and automation. * Lead and help architect supply chain analytics, including cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain systems, network design, and architecture strategies. * Partner with IT and GSS functions in the development of predictive analytics to improve service operations and executive decision-making around spare parts. * Identify opportunities for system and tools improvement with the goal of increased agility while reducing total cost-of-service and driving efficiencies in the end to end service supply chain; support design and improvements of automated what if scenario tools to facilitate fast and effective decision making. * Uses statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems. Performs complex statistical analysis on business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts. Constructs predictive models to support data analysis or product functions; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on real-world results * Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. * Supports efforts to create diagrams and evaluations of existing processes. Provides data and supports gathering of business requirements to create Use Case and to prepare Business Requirements Document (BRD) and reports. * Serves as liaison between Spares and Service Ops, IT and IT software development teams by * Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing automated systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements * Participating in the designs of details of automated systems; may provide consultation to users in automated systems and may lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. * Participating in BRD creation, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and collection & documentation of system and/or software incidents (Nonconformance reports).
