Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
Excellent communication skills with ability to meet responsibilities with flexibility in an environment of rapid change. Communicates clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms.
Ability to participate as member of the health care team and lead, educate, and provide feedback to subordinates in a clear and supportive manner.
Utilizes the nursing process in assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of resident care in collaboration with the attending physician and other health care professionals to assist each resident to attain their highest practicable level of function. Is responsible for clinical performance and resident care services provided on unit assigned, which includes direct care, planning and assigning care to subordinates based upon the needs of the residents, assisting, educating, and providing follow up with other care providers, and evaluating performance and outcome of services.
