Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with children with Cognitive Impairments preferred
Meets Highly Qualified Para Educator qualifications
CPI Certification
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Hours: Classroom Hours: Approximately 25-35 hours per week
Job Goal: To assist the teacher in helping students with impairments achieve maximum benefit from their educational programs.
