Job Description: Provide administrative and event support to Chamber staff and respond to inquiries from Chamber members and the public.
Duties may include data entry, telephone and email communication, assistance with event registration, planning and preparation, member support, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Use of office equipment (ie: copy machines, printers, calculator, phones) (Training provided)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Web Browsers, Outlook
- Knowledge or ability to learn membership database software (Training provided)
- General knowledge of Saginaw County and the Great Lakes Bay Region
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Strong organizational, time management and project management skills; Ability to prioritize
- Must provide an outstanding, positive example of customer service, leadership and professionalism to Chamber members, staff, volunteers, and general public
- Ability to travel independently to and from events
- Ability to attend occasional early morning, evening and weekend meetings and events
