Delivery Driver/Event Setup Personnel
The Party Source, LLC - Party Rentals - Southfield, Southfield, MI

Job Summary:

• Load/unload and deliver party rentals including tents, tables and chairs, etc. to customers and clients in the most efficient, safest and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works with delivery team associate to load and unload truck manually and/or utilizing equipment
• Work in inclement weather conditions
• Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport
• Must deal with dispatchers, loaders, other employees, customer representatives, guards and other personnel at the stops, in a manner that positively reflects our company
• Suggest alternatives solutions to customers when needed.
• Proactively handle any order conflicts; reporting all changes to management
• Serve as the customer champion to successfully manage, act and resolve customer needs with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of the customer while adhering to company guidelines
• Assure safety guidelines are explained and every rental contract is signed and kept safely to turn into the office
• Collect and manage funds received from clients and turn into the office with contracts
• Maintain truck including but limited to keeping it clean inside, gas and all fluids are in order
• The ability to carry push and pull a minimum of 75lbs on a regular basis

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to speak read and write English
• Able to work a flexible schedule and as many as 12 hours in a day, including any of the shifts (day, evening, night and weekend and/or holidays)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 18 years and/or older - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• *MUST HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD*
• Outstanding customer service skills; with a willingness to please all customers
