OMT-Veyhl is now hiring for Manufacturing Associates and has openings available on both 1st shift and weekend shift.
SCHEDULE
Weekend Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:15 AM to 4:15 PM. Work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours.
Manufacturing Associates will assist in multiple departments including: assembly, fabrication and paint line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ASSEMBLY
- Assembles finished products using powder-coated parts and appropriate hardware to print.
- Packages and skids finished product.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and work area.
- Follows established safety guidelines.
- Follows correct processes and procedures to assemble product to ensure best quality.
- Assembles finished products using powder-coated parts and appropriate hardware to print.

MACHINE OPERATION
- Download computer program to machine.
- Set up and operate fabrication machine to produce parts to specification.
- Control and monitor the material flow.
- Set up and operate fabrication machine
- Set up tooling in proper locations if necessary
- Dimension and inspect parts for quality and fit with print.
- Select testing procedures and devices and apply them.
- Perform required maintenance and calibration.
- Observe the regulations regarding environmental protection, work safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate work with operations before and after them in the process chain.
- Shuttle parts within plant, as required.
- Complete production log of finished parts.
- Logs into and out of jobs on NAV system, entering completed parts and scrapped parts and their locations.
POWDER COAT SUPPORT
- Load and unload powder coat line. Perform some assembly while parts are hanging on the powder coat line using both power tools and hand tools.
- Check quality of powder finish and wash. Identify quality problems in gloss, evenness of finish, and color and bring to Logistics Coordinator’s attention.
- Maintain powder coat equipment.
- Work through daily schedule to provide on-time delivery and high quality components.
- Other duties as assigned.
