CNC PROGRAMMER
Using knowledge of Mastercam and Cimatron software, perform advanced level programming for lathe and mill machines by making parts for molds and tools used in cold heading and forming. Review part prints and determine method of processing and tooling and equipment to be used and generate toolpath. Acquire tooling needed for job and generate appropriate set-up documentation for operators. Update, repair, modify and expand existing programs. Advise and consult with Quality Control, Management, Sales Department and customers when change is required and/or when tolerance or application issues arise. Follow machining process through first article inspection ensuring that quality requirements are met while optimizing toolpath and productivity. Organize and maintain integrity of part process and programming files by creating permanent storage of proven toolpath for each part processed and perform reverse engineering from point cloud data.
Require 2 years of CNC programming experience which includes programming using Mastercam and Cimatron software for lathe and mill machines.
