Inter-Source is a industry leader that has been building metal chip processing equipment for 30 plus years. We are seeking a motivated individual for an entry level general shop technician position.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Dismantling used machines, cleaning components, inspection, repair, assembly, paint and general building maintenance as required.
Desired Qualification:
The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical skills; able and willing to work with their hands; able to read, understand and follow blueprints; know the proper use of hand tools; basic wire welding, plasma cutting and painting skills are preferred; be able to stand or kneel for extended periods of time; move or lift up to 50 pounds, and have a commitment to quality workmanship and a desire to learn.
General Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; ability to stay on task; follow instructions with minimum supervision; possess safe work habits and good organizational skills.
General Experience:
Previous mechanical repair; construction work; or metal fabrication experiences is a plus.
Compensation:
This is a full time position that offers benefits after 90 days, including insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay. Wages are based on experience.
