MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Must have verifiable experience serving in a Supervisory capacity related to Maintenance.
Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable in the practices of Custodial Operations, General Building Maintenance and Successful Staff Supervision.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have strong leadership qualities along with excellent communication skills. Must possess strong multi-tasking abilities while being able to prioritize. Must have excellent customer service skills and be detail oriented. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass forklift training (training provided here on site)
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Personal computer with Microsoft, Windows, Excel, and Outlook Express. Copier, fax machine and phone/paging system. Commercial carpet scrubbers, extractors and buffers. Basic carpentry and plumbing tools. Snowplowing equipment and man-lifts.

The essential duties of this position are capable of generating the following physical demands.
Stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
Sit for up to 3 hours of an 8-hour day.

Must be able to climb ladders and utilize man-lift equipment as needed.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour day.
Must be able to work with the follow cleaners on a daily basis: acid based, ammonia based, and chlorine based.
Must be able to wear rubber gloves during the cleaning of bathrooms and the clean up of bodily fluids.
Must be able to use both hands for repetitive motion for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift
Must be able to frequently bend, squat, reach, twist, and rotate as needed with an 8-hour shift.
