Job Description
General Summary:
This technician performs field activities associated with installation of commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems at various customer sites across the Country.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Installation of packaged roof top units and split systems generally ranging in size from 3 to 25 tons. Occasionally work on installations of larger units up to 100 tons
Technical aptitude to perform HVAC installations, including, but not limited to, electrical conduit and connections, pipe threading and basic controls integration
Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as required.
Position is 90% Travel
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
2 to 6 years hands on Commercial HVAC Experience
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
Complete pre-employment drug test and background check process
Technical aptitude to perform HVAC installations, including, but not limited to, electrical connections, pipe threading, basic controls integration
Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
Good Electrical and Mechanical Skills
Ability to work on a Team, occasionally have the ability to work independently to complete required tasks
Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
NATE certification a plus
Ability to travel 90%
