New York Bagel is a family-owned business celebrating 101 years of bagel making in Metro Detroit.
Shift: 4:30am - 5am until 12:30pm - 1pm
Schedule Sun-Mon-Wed-Thurs-Fri
Schedule is somewhat flexible and shift can be modified slightly to accommodate other scheduling needs
Responsibilities:
Baking, generally stationed by the kettle
Operating the rack oven
Operating bagel production equipment
Keeping all baking stations clean and organized
Cleaning baking pans
Sweeping & mopping as necessary
Other light cleaning
Mixing/refilling bagel topping containers
Bagel Packaging - bagging and wrapping
Prior baking experience desired but not mandatory, all training can be done in-house. Applicants must be comfortable working in a warm environment.
