FUNCTION OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Digital Product Marketing is responsible to identify and implement an industry leading digital experience of provisioning, onboarding, enhancing features and ecommerce for the Whirlpool Corporation portfolio of brands. This person will work closely with customer service, global information systems, electronics and controls engineering, consumer insights, brand marketing, and global consumer design as a cross function mission. The role demands consumer obsession, principled thinking, well-honed product judgment, a stubborn refusal to settle, bold innovation, a high design bar and a mentality of starting with the user experience and working backwards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and deliver amazing customer experiences for new digital and physical/IOT connected products
Partner with cross functional teams to define/prioritize consumer use cases to accelerate realizing experiences that help deliver consumer needs in a delightful way
Own the post purchase experience of all connected products - from Day 1 provision your new appliances to consumers exploring new features to improving those everyday moments
Utilize Big Data management & technology to activate and power personalized ownership experience for respective brands
Champion IOT/Connectivity efforts throughout the organization (i.e. Customer service, Ecommerce, Brand teams, Quality , UX design, Engineering, Mobile Dev.)
Teams masterfully with others. Not just when it’s easy, but when things get tough, you get more collaborative developing extreme followership

Ability to travel domestically and internationally, if necessary up to 15%
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA Marketing, Business or Computer Science
3+ years of marketing, product marketing or product development experience in Startup, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), technology, retail or Fortune 500
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Passion for the consumer and the trade customer
Excellent analytical skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Great work ethic, resourcefulness and willingness to learn
Proficient computer skills, with experience in Google Slides and Google Sheets a plus
