Smart Grid Integration Manager/Electric Utilities
Leidos is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in the planning and implementation of Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system components, applications and interfaces in support of utility industry clients.

Responsibilities:
• Working with our clients, partners and team members to plan, design, implement and operationalize AMI systems. Experience working in the electric, water or gas utility industry and a technical or engineering background using demonstrable problem solving skills are desired.
• Lead project startup activities and manage implementation through operational turnover
• Communicate effectively with business partners, clients and Leidos team members on the status of project implementation timelines, risks, issues and problem resolution.
• Manage implementation & integration of AMI device firmware and server software
• Work with Smart Grid Operations team members to review, analyze and resolve AMI alerts, events and faults
• Assist in troubleshooting AMI software application issues quickly and effectively
• Provide technical and product support to clients
• Assist in developing knowledge base information, application documentation and procedures
• Ensure that work complies with Leidos’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), systems development life cycle methodology, policies, standards and procedures
• Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize within a high volume/time sensitive environment
Qualifications:
• Typically requires Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, or Business and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters (MIS) with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in the Utilities industry and AMI systems helpful
• Customer service oriented; must possess attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Solid understanding of AMI technology (Meter Data Management Systems, etc.)
• Knowledge of AMI systems methodologies, design, and implementation
• Have strong analytical skills and problem solving techniques
• Work well within a team environment and independently
• Possess excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
