Will serve patients at skilled nursing facilities and homes in the Southfield, Detroit and Bloomfield areas.
The Hospice Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who, through the use of care management principles and practice, applies the nursing process to meet the needs of Hospice patients and families within Beaumont Health. The RN works as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team and works closely with Care Management, the Hospital palliative care team and physicians to introduce patients and their families to Hospice and care for them in collaboration with hospital nursing staff following admission.
Requirements:
*Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
*Graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of Nursing. BSN preferred
*Demonstrates technical competency, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
*Has 2 years nursing experience or 1 year of Hospice experience
*Has current BLS certification
*Hospice nursing experience is preferred
