Looking for a Project Engineer / Mechanical Designer in the Northern Kalamazoo, MI area. You will create, design, project engineer and oversee the development of custom equipment. You will regularly interact with customers and help them increase their productivity with new and improved machines.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of machine design experience.
Fluent in a 3D design software such as Solidworks, Inventor or Pro-e.
Able to develop new machines from concept through launch.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude and be friendly.
DESIRED SKILLS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is strongly desired.
Experience with SolidWorks, strength deflection, structural analysis, FEA, gears, pulleys, hydraulics and pneumatics is desired.
Project engineering experience.
Electrical Controls experience would also be helpful.
