#743 POWERTRAIN DURABILITY ENGINEER

The Powertrain Durability Engineer will be responsible for conducting dynamometer powertrain testing in dyno cells.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall e-motor and efficiency dyno testing activities, and conduct strategic planning for future testing needs
- Support root cause analysis of dynamometers and test stands to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to maximize test cell and test stand efficiency
- Review and support the integration of new test equipment throughout the lab
- Prepare test schedules to meet program timing objectives and milestones
- Test engines and transmissions according to company standard test schedules
- Collect data during testing to assure test is being conducted properly and the test is progressing according to plans
- Analyze data and hardware to understand issues and failures during testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a powertrain testing environment
- Experience with test system controls
- Experience with diagnosing and root cause analysis
- Experience with common tools (TDCI, INCA, I-Box, DCPlot, MATLAB, CDA, CAN Communication)
- DFSS experience is preferred
