Job Title: Lead Warehouse Associate
Reports To: General Manager
Summary: The Lead Warehouse Associate leads the overall direction of warehouse supplies to ensure technicians have what they need so technicians can be efficient and effective in delighting customers. Further, this role is integral in ensuring a culture of safety and a mindset that inventory control is a key metric to be managed. This person is responsible for developing procedures, measuring efficiencies, maintaining inventory accuracy, and receiving and ordering shipments. This person will also help technicians think about their inventory, replenishment schedule, and general utilization and upkeep of parts and equipment. This role is also responsible for assisting with grounds keeping and helping to facilitate and ensure vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Leads daily warehouse and shipping activities including:
- Filling and shipping customer orders,
- Satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.)
- Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
- Receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel
- Filling work orders from production
- Packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods
- Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.

· Facilitates and ensures vehicle maintenance and upkeep
· Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks.
· Establishes and/or adjusts work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
· Proactively recommends measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office, including knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. Knowledge of inventory system is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver's license and a non-negligent driving record. Also need to be able to operate a forklift.

Must be comfortable working in small spaces and/or various heights. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle. Will be required to climb ladders in a safe manner. Employee, including any tools and/or equipment that is carried, must be able to remain within the weight requirements of a 300 pound ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to work 8 hours a day, can be scheduled any day of the week Monday through Sunday 365 days a year including holidays.
