A Sales & Service Representative (SR) manages customer accounts in the Remote Delivery Location (RDL) department. SRs drive a company van along an established route and service within an existing customer base. It is a physical, indoor/outdoor, fast/paced position in which the SR delivers and picks up product, paperwork, and other orthopedic devices. Service Representatives are the face of Hanger Clinic to our customers and must work diligently to build rapport and trust with key decision makers, ensure quality standards, and solve customer concerns. They must utilize interpersonal skills and RDL program knowledge to foster strong client and patient satisfaction with company products and services.
Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital management, delivering the highest standard of customer service
Tracking and restocking of product at all assigned RDL accounts
Manage compliance of paperwork picked up from accounts
Assess product needs with existing/new customers
Review billing statements with customers
Assist with implementation of RDL program at newly acquired accounts
Identify inefficiencies and revenue loss at non-compliant accounts and collaborate with staff to create solutions
Assist with in-services that focus on education of protocol and processes
Attend all mandatory department meetings
Maintain cleanliness and pkeep of company vehicle
Drive safely and always operate vehicle within the confines of the law
Communicate any and all customer issues, inquiries, or complaints to appropriate managers
High School Diploma required; BS/BA preferred
Extensive customer service experience required
A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
Some PC Skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel)
The ability to meet physical requirements of the job, which includes working in inclement weather
