PDS Tech Inc is seeking a Graphic Artist in Sterling Heights, FL
Prospective candidate will be able to create accurate computer illustrations, graphics, line art drawings, and edit and enhance photographs per program requirements. Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
• Create two/three-dimensional computer graphics which artistically represent materials used in support of training courseware.
• Creates materials for interactive technologies (computer-based training), interactive courseware, web-based training, and distance learning training. Utilizes both Company developed as well as commercial software products.
• Assists in the creative planning and development of storyboards through cooperation with Subject Matter Experts, and other design team members.
• Interacts with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers and Programmers as part of a courseware production team.
• Uses basic design skills and artistic creativity to implement two or three dimensional animation in support of training objectives.
• Designs and develops engineering and technical drawings and schematics in support of training objectives.
• Understands and adheres to art standards established for each project by coordinating color schemes for screen layout and design of elements.
• Exercises safe, mature, discretionary handling of GFE materials, sensitive materials (documents and equipment), and any end items used for training.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 6 years of experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and or SolidWorks to create graphics and illustrations for technical manual development.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Must demonstrate judgment and artistic skill when creating or updating line art from still photos and or engineering drawings. May include operation of equipment, such as still and video cameras, for the design and production of photos and videotape.
