Position of Assistant Director in Detroit, MI
1. Provide legal counsel and services to the organization's activities in the United States, Italy, and the Holy See;
2. Formulate strategic responses to the developments of the legal and regulatory framework in the Holy See relative to the Postulation of Causes of Saints and management of the Relics;
3. Identify, address and manage legal and regulatory risks arising by the organization's activities;
4. Negotiate agreements with the Holy See, Religious Congregations in Rome, and other third parties for issues that concern the organization's mission;
5. Act as a liaison to the Holy See and any other relevant body in Rome or the United States;
6. Establish and develop appropriate relationship with the Italian and Holy See authorities in close conjunction with the leadership of the organization, and ongoing management of that
relationship;
7. Develop and actively manage the organization's major pilgrimages and its local expositions/exhibits/presentations;
8. Coordinate and manage the Postulation of Causes of Saints assigned to or acquired by the organization.
