General Summary: A licensed registered nurse working to assist the public and serve their needs in the areas of Women, Infants, & Children (WIC), Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP), immunizations, Children’s Special Health Care, and other Health Department services.
Duties:
- Providing skilled nursing care to individuals/families with their needs in office, via tele-health, in home and off-site.
- Complete and maintain accurate, adequate, and timely records in computer software products such as Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records software, and similar products.
- Utilize effective communication and conflict resolution skills to serve clientele in a tactful, objective, respectful manner while maintaining privacy and HIPAA compliance.
Requirements:
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Michigan.
- Ability to provide services to vulnerable populations in a culturally competent, inclusive, and non-judgmental manner.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Fluent in English. Additional languages beneficial.
Salary: $23.31 per hour starting wage, increasing to $24.66 upon successful probation period in accordance with current Union contract plus full benefit package. $24.04 per hour starting wage, increasing to $25.34 for Bachelor prepared RN.
