Cyber Security Instructional Designer - SME # R 8487812
Location: Troy MI
Duration: 1 year contract
Pay: 80-82/HR
Must be able to pass a secret clearance
US Citizenship REQUIRED It does not help to apply without citizenship. We cannot accept any other form of work authorization (H1, EAD etc) or do corp to corp.
Development Requirements:
- Develop 120 hours of course content for the 200 course. The 200 course is made up of 10 modules.
a. Identify and provide SMEs who, working side by side with Instructional Designers (ISD’s), will develop content for the cyber academy 200 course content.
i. The SME will be responsible for developing content appropriate for the modules described in the additional
details.
ii. The content for the 200 course will build upon the content previously developed in the 100 and 101 courses
and will prepare the students for the 300 courses.
iii. Exercises are in class, desk top type exercises and AWS virtual exercises which has replaced the need for a
Range. All exercises that are in AWS are built to support the capstone/lab exercise at the end.
iv. Develop a pool of 300 questions that would be used for the pre-assessment, and post-assessment, and end of the module quizzes
v. The ISD will be responsible for the formatting and desk top publishing of the content.

Defensive Roles -Gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities within Defensive Operations. Network
Analysis - Demonstrate ability to identify network assets. Demonstrate the ability to recognize potential threat
vectors to recommend defensive strategies
Defensive Tools - Demonstrate the ability to use common defensive tools for analysis, reporting and collection. Incident Response - Demonstrate when and how to report cyber incidents. Demonstrate how to identify threats and potential compromises to networks.
Incident Investigation and Forensic Collection - Demonstrate when and how to report cyber incidents. Demonstrate how to identify threats and potential compromises to networks.
Opensource Analysis - Demonstrate ability to collect and analyze open-source information.
Threat Intelligence – In an industry where threats are global, the rapid dissemination of threat intelligence can be key to protecting a network infrastructure from new attacks. This module focuses on both free and subscription-basedservices to help alert network administrators to breakout threats.
Capstone/Lab Exercise - The capstone exercise reinforces the skills and techniques learned throughout
the training course. It comprises many challenges of various difficulty levels designed to test the cyber skills
and creative problem-solving of its participants.
Boot Camp for Certification Test - Goal is to prepare students to take certification tests using existing publicly available occupational Code content
NOTE: AGAIN - MUST BE US CITIZEN to be eligible for this position. There is no relocation or expense package offered for this position. Rates are all inclusive W2 hourly wages. No 1099, No third parties, no C2C
