Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, the Maintenance Technician performs general and semi-skilled construction, maintenance, and repair activities related to City buildings, libraries, pools, parks, public restrooms, the public works garage, and other related areas 20-29 hours per week.

PAY:
- Pay increase upon successful completion of a 6-month introductory period
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- State of Michigan Vehicle Operator's License, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to maintain one throughout employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas and concepts orally and in writing
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and use good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work effectively under stress, within deadlines and changes in work priorities
- Basic skill in the use of office equipment and technology
