Under close supervision, this classification functions in a lead position over other part time seasonal staff to oversee direct interaction with customers at the point of sale, greet and act as hosts to visitors, and complete cash transactions. Assists with planning and coordinating food and beverage preparation and cooking activities so that items are ready for serving at the appropriate time and location. Answers questions, gives directions, explains facilities rules, enforces rules and assists higher level employees involved in the general maintenance and operations of concessions or food and beverage facilities. Depending on the work assignment, employees in this classification may assist in the operation of a contact station or concession operation at water parks, campgrounds, and golf courses. May utilize current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
