Position Title: Principal Welding Engineer - GMAW Weld Focus
This position is responsible for oversight of all welding related activities in the plant involved in the manufacture of automotive seating structures, including leading a team of technical support staff, who are dedicated to maintaining welding process integrity and equipment uptime to achieve production objectives.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
5-10 years' experience in managing 3 to 10 people under his/her supervision.
5-10 years' experience working with multiple product launch teams.
10 - 20 years' experience welding processes & applications.
BS Degree in Welding Engineering, or BS Degree in Manufacturing with strong welding background
Experience with Robotic GMAW preferred, with Laser welding, and Resistance Welding also desirable.
Experience with automation, robot programming, PLC programming are all highly desirable.
Experience with welding process, equipment, and fixture specification and selection a must.
Strong communication skills, with a positive attitude. Should be process oriented, have can-do attitude.
Is resourceful, and a problem solver. Should be able to work independently or in group.
