Position Title: Laboratory Assistant I
General Summary:
We are seeking an organized individual to work as a Laboratory Assistant II in the specimen processing area of our high volume clinical Chemistry laboratory.
Essential Duties:
The individual will receive and process samples, and appropriately handle customer service inquiries. May prepare 24 hour Urine for testing, assist with loading samples on instruments, pending worklists, and assist with other projects as assigned both independently and within a team setting.
Standard Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Type 25 wpm and computer/pc experience. Excellent communication skills are required. Clinical laboratory processing, LIS and experience highly desirable.
