SUMMARY OF POSITION
Create and modify manufacturing prints, vendor prints and templates. Accurately create, update and maintain many types of files (i.e. SolidWorks, M2M, etc.) for other departments to use as needed in the production of product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create and change prints and templates
- Complete and/or check print conversions ( Metric to English (Imperial Units))
- Change and create routings and B.O.M.s
- Print and check daily dispatch lists to ensure that every item is being process correctly
- Process incoming ECO Files and New Part files
- May assist in developing new products
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of the sequence of operations in regards to machining, design, tooling needed, and stainless material
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production needs and proper machine selection
- Provide assistance on the manufacturing floor to solve problems when needed
- Perform other duties as required or directed by the Department Supervisor or Lead
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of design modification experience in a manufacturing environment or the equivalent in combination of experience and education preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- A working knowledge of Solid Works
- Ability to read blueprints
- A good understanding of GD&T;
- Must have knowledge of CNC manufacturing equipment, including Swiss Turn lathes / Milling
- Must have knowledge of post-machining finishing processes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Extensive computer work
- Corrected vision of 20/20, preferred
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined for the position
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must submit to and pass background and substance abuse tests.
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States through eVerify.

- Manufacturing environment: may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, dirt, dust, disinfectants, solvents, cleaning chemicals, etc.
