We are looking for EXPERIENCED CNC MILL MACHINISTS. Being proficient in programming with Cam software, preferrably Gibbs Cam a plus. If you have similar experience with MasterCam, SurfCam or another Cam software; we would be willing to train you in Gibbs Cam. Experience with close tolerance work required.
Machinists are responsible for complete set/ups, programming and operation of very complex, close tolerance parts.
1. You must be able to read and interpret prints and complete advanced calculations required for machining to part specifications,
2. Must be able to program, set-up and operate a variety of machinery,
3. You must be able to perform in process inspections using various inspection equipment including micrometers, height gages, calipers, bore gages, optical comparators, thread gages, etc.,
4. Must have ability to implement new programs to aid in production and quality improvement,
5. Must have the ability to revise programs or processes to compensate for changes in tooling and tool locations.
6. Must have the ability to select or make the proper fixturing, select the proper tooling, inserts, speeds & feeds,
7. Analyze inspection data to maintain production in specifications,
8. Must have the ability to analyze tooling wear to aid in improving operational performance.
