JOB SUMMARY
Performs and interprets laboratory procedures following established accrediatation guidelines and quality control standards. Communicates with other health care providers whenever necessary to meet acceptable standards for pre-analytical,
analytical and post analytical testing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or related fields
Completion of internship program from an approved school of Medical Technology or school of Clinical Laboratory Science
ASCP certified or equivalent or eligible. Must be certified within 12 months of accepting the position
