Are you an independent leader who is team-focused and enjoys learning? Extol is currently searching for a Project Manager 2. As a Project Manager 2, you will have the opportunity to lead project teams from order receipt to equipment installation at the customer's facility. You will creatively solve problems, work with customers on various projects from simple to complex, and independently handle day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads team and project communication, clarifies customer requirements, effectively establishes and communicates timelines and milestones.
- Manages project financial performance, tracks and reports quality metrics (On Time/Complete, Variance, Rework, Clean Kickoff), and complete appropriate documentation and product manual for machine.
- Works with the project team to ensure design concept is consistent with the project scope and satisfies all project requirements.
- Follow the existing processes that make up the Extol Quality Management System with discipline and be audit ready every day.
- Assess cross functional team members on performance and assist with on-time completion of employee performance reviews.
- Manage root cause and corrective action activity for issues identified in the project team.

Required Skills & Experience
- BS degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with demonstrated ability to conclude complex projects on time and within budget.
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams to perform.
- Understanding of project management concepts, practices, tools/techniques, and procedures to complex and unique projects.
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-functional team members.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift/push equipment or material weighing over 50 pounds (occasionally lift/push equipment or material weighing over 100 pounds with assistance provided) with or without accommodations.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with customer service orientation.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- PMP or CAPM certification from PMI preferred.
- Manufacturing experience.
Hours Required: Full-Time, 48 Hours/Week (Average) Exempt (Salary)
Regular Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (from time to time, work may require non-typical work hours to accommodate project deadlines and irregular workflow).
Some overnight and extended work travel required.
