Summary
Monday - Friday; 6:15AM - 9:00AM and 3:00PM-6:00PM
Hours may vary depending on individual school times
Half days have opportunity for more hours
Starting pay based on experience and/or degree
Due to the Child Care Stabilization Grant there is a $500 (part time)/$1,000 (full time) bonus after 30 working days
Child care fee waived for any worker who is working as a SACC Director or aide during the time the eligible student is in SACC
Duties include:
Developing, implementing, and evaluating center policies and programs
Administering day-to-day operations
Overseeing staff
Qualifications
Must meet one of the following educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a child-related field
Associate's degree in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience
Montessori credential with 12 semester hours in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience
Michigan school-age credential with 12 semester hours in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience
Child development associate credential with 12 semester hours in a child-related field with 480 hours of experience
60 semester hours of education with 12 semester hours in a child-related field with 720 hours of experience
High school diploma/GED with 6 semester hours in a child-related field with 2,880 hours of experience
Must have at least 2 semester hours in child care administration from an accredited college or university or a minimum of 3.0 CEUs in child care administration.
Must have current certification in infant, child, and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
Must complete 16 clock hours of annual training.
