The Lewis Tree Operations Project Manager is responsible for tracking the status of overall work being completed for a customer or set of customers, keeping centralized records for task/input completion, rework, and planned work.

What You'll Do Here...
Ownership of customer software as used to track tasks (rework inputs, work completion) as input by the crews and General Forepersons.
Provide weekly reporting on the status of work by group/customer to use in planning and productions management
Ensures that high-quality arboricultural work is being performed at all times.
Ensures compliance of all customers' contract specifications and requirements.
Ensures the team is proficient in the software and conducts training for new employees.
Represent LTS on company or union meetings, following up on any action items or LTS responsibilities as an outcome of the meetings.
Assist with bidding by reviewing and/or estimating work in existing or new contracts.
Manages the customer (homeowner) compliant cycle, as measured by the utility dashboard. De-escalate complaints and work with the General Forepersons and Risk Management on resolutions.
Interact with homeowners and utility customers to ensure customer satisfaction and swift resolution.
Support the Supervisor in duties, as assigned:
Assists the Supervisor in accountability for the operational results of General Foremen.
Crew visits with General Foremen, giving guidance, assistance, and support.
Maintains open communication with Supervisor on all area operational activities.
Support our Human Performance initiatives by gaining a strong understanding of the principles, behaviors, and activities:
Oversee the implementation of the Corporate Safety Program, including training sessions, tailgate meetings, and award programs.
Work with General Foremen and Corporate Safety on investigations.
Ensure that equipment repairs and preventative maintenance are completed.
Understands and enforces all company policies and procedures.
Attends internal and external training courses, which pertain to improving and developing job-related business management and operational skills.
What You'll Need:
A minimum of 5 years of related or relevant experience.
High School diploma or the equivalent, at the minimum
Valid driver's license and be eligible to operate a vehicle on behalf of the Company
Additional certifications and licensing as required by Lewis Tree Service, Customer, State and Federal law
Preferred: experience in the line-clearance industry, including:
Understanding of OSHA, ANSI, DOT and tree industry regulations and standards.
Care and use of utility line clearance tree tools such as saws (chain and hand,) pruners, pole tools, ropes and rigging tools, saddles, full body harnesses, aerial lifts, personal protective equipment, chippers, and more
Able and willing to travel via ground and/or air transportation. Storm emergencies may require extended out of town stay.
Proficient with standard office equipment i.e. computer, phones, scanner, fax and copier.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred: Experience with work planning software such as Clarion
