The individual who fulfills the role of Maintenance Technician will work independently and as a part of team to maintain and repair all manufacturing equipment and facilities utilizing skills in welding, electrical repair, blue print reading, mechanical repair and more. Maintenance Technicians help to keep our business running and make our work environment safer.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all predictive and preventive programs are followed and maintained.
- Support all technicians in all locations.
- Ensure all Company and government standards are followed and enforced for equipment and facilities.
- Ensure that all capital equipment is maintained to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in manufacturing machinery repair.
- Demonstrated experience working with 480 - 3phase electrical
- Experience reading blue prints
- Capable of performing basic electrical and hydraulic repair.
- Capable of performing basic pipefitting and welding
- Experience repairing and trouble-shooting stamping press machinery and related equipment
- Experience repairing and trouble-shooting pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, mechanical, single phase and three phase electrical systems
- Experience repairing and trouble-shooting PLC related machinery
- Must be able to maintain Hilo certification and crane certification.
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Must have problem solving skills
