This position will be part of the KION Group - Mobile Automation team! Tasks and Qualifications:
Core Responsibilities:
Deploy proprietary software to customer server
Investigate customer inquiries related to potential software issues
Analyzing Customer Requirements
Creating Technical specifications and test plans
Server and PC setup, software installation, including Virtualized Servers
Working closely with other Staff including:
Software Engineers
Customer Service Engineers
Project Managers
Hardware Engineers
Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, researching new technologies / methodologies, and accessing new applications
Experience/Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required
0-4 years of experience in a related role
Database Experience (MS-SQL, Oracle, and others)
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Editions and Desktop Editions
Ability to quickly learn software and how to configure it
Basic Networking knowledge: firewalls, network protocols, etc.
Ability to work well within a team environment
Detailed-oriented
Quality-oriented and customer-focused
Self-motivated
Experience/Skill Preferred:
Knowledge of Material Handling: AGVs, WMS, Case Pick
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, C#, C/C , Source Control
Microsoft Office including Visio
Participation in an AGILE software development environment
Knowledge of Server Hardware and Virtualization
Experience with PLCs or I/O Modules
Experience with Training Users on Software
Experience writing User Manuals and/or Help Files
Travel:
Travel - Up to 10% (including International).
