Position Summary:
The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for working with all departments and external clients, using qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze and determine need for developing a technology solution. Once a need is determined, the Programmer Analyst will gather requirements, build, test, and deploy internally developed solutions. The Programmer Analyst will work with effected departments to roll out the new product and provide supporting documentation. The final stage in each project include the hand off to support to onsite IT teams and will include system diagrams, knowledge articles, and training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data to determine proper fit of a technology solution.
Conduct project meetings to gather solution requirements
Provide timely and accurate communication with stakeholders of the project for the duration of the project lifecycle
Develop and implement custom solutions
Deploy solutions and work with stakeholders to ensure all product bugs and defects are addressed before final handoff to IT support team
Documentation of system including how-to documents provided to end users as well as system documentation provided to IT support team
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business, or related field
3+ years' experience in development role
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
Experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Experience with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence (SSRS & Power BI)
Experience in gaming industry strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an office environment. Tasks may be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. May be exposed to second hand smoke. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
