The Troy School District Operations Department is looking for 6-8 student workers to work as part of our Grounds & Custodial Crews.
Positions would be employed through DM Burr Services
Season – May through mid August
Pay Rate $13/hour
Hours are as follows:
Grounds - (6:00 am – 2:30 pm) Monday - Friday
Custodial – (6:30 am – 3:00 pm) Monday – Friday
*Full time availability is preferred, part time will be considered
**Must be 18 years old to apply.
The tasks assigned to the student worker are general tasks that can be easily trained for and performed successfully.
Sample Grounds Crew Tasks* –
Litter/debris pick up, Mowing, Weed Trimming, Mulching, Athletic Field maintenance/set up
Sample Custodial Crew Tasks* -
Litter/debris pick up, mowing, weed trimming, mulching, classroom furniture moving, general cleaning (windows, entry rugs, dusting).
*Neither of these lists are meant to be inclusive of all tasks only to provide a sample of the most frequently performed.
