Crystal Lumber & Hardware is growing and seeks a full-time Kitchen Designer Assistant to join their team in Crystal Falls, Michigan.

WAGE/BENEFITS.
- $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (paid weekly).

SCHEDULE. This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday; no weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Assist customers in defining the texture, feel and functionality of their home with interior finish products such as wall coverings, window/door components, cabinetry, hardware and fixtures.
- Close sales and produce sales agreements.
- Expedite factory orders to manufacturers and certify order acknowledgments are accurate.
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations with emphasis on meeting customers for the selections process and design consultation.
- Perform jobsite documentation and measurements necessary for proper sizing of interior products.
- Assist in coordinating delivery of ordered material to customer.
- Train alongside and provide support to current staff and be coached for excellence in your position.
QUALIFICATIONS.
- No experience required; we will train the right person who demonstrates an ability to deliver exceptional customer service and has passion for our company.
- Proficiency with 2020 Interior Design Software desired.
- Degree or training in interior design, drafting, graphic art, visual arts or a related field a bonus.
- Knowledge/experience with new construction and/or remodeling a bonus.
- Ability to read and take measurements using a tape measure required.
- You are organized, energetic, reliable, and work well individually and as a team member.
- You are proficient with computer software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Possess a desire to continually increase your knowledge of the customers we serve and products/services our company can produce.
- Valid driver’s licenses required. Ability to travel locally for customer meetings and training events required.
