The Registered Nurse - Hospice provides comprehensive, convenient, and high quality Hospice services to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of adult and geriatric patients with limited life expectancy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Associates degree in Nursing (ADN).Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hireCompletion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills via phone and face-to-face.Ability to problem-solve and excellent critical thinking skills. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:Current Michigan Registered Nurse license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Valid Michigan Drivers license.Dependable automobile insured according to State of Michigan requirements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).Previous nursing experience in Hospice or Home Health setting.
