Summary: Effectively identify, build, set-up, removal, disassemble, and storage of tooling by following established process and training procedure for all thermoforming presses and stamping presses
Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety and MIOSHA regulations
- Required to follow a daytime schedule to Identify what tooling needs to be located for assembly
- All tooling will be inspected for safety, damage, and debris before assembling and report to supervisors.
- The jobs will be built to the proper master tooling per machine
- Changeovers will be done by following established safety and Company process and procedures for the Thermoformers and Stamping Presses
- Communication of changeover completion to Process Technicians
- Breaking down tooling packages and storage upon changeover completions
- Properly Complete required paperwork regarding tool assembly, changeover, breakdown/storage
- After die set completion for stamping presses, 1st pieces to be given to shift supervisor, and completion of set up log book
- Roll changes to be done by following established procedure for Thermoformers.
- Responsible for cleanliness of established work area and around assigned Presses
Requirements:
- Minimum HS Diploma/GED
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Assemble/Disassemble Tools, Mechanical Aptitude, Industrial Mechanics: 2 years
- Expected to work overtime on weekends and weekdays
- Must be able to perform all aspects of job with or without reasonable accommodation
