Apprentice applicants will be required to pass a skills aptitude test, background check, and an intensive cross functional team interview process.

- 8000 hours of OJT – 850 of classroom training
Participate in a team atmosphere and perform daily activities of stocking machines, reviewing parts, entering SPC data, changing tools, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment. Assist and work with the trainer to obtain experience with solving process and tooling problems. While working a modified schedule the apprentice will also attend the required courses of the National Tool and Machine Association at Grand Rapids Community College. Collectively, the experience and training obtained over the three year period will prepare the apprentice for a machinist position.
