The Executive Project Manager provides project management leadership for complex, high-priority initiatives involving Oakland University (OU), Corewell Health East (CHE), and the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB). The position is responsible for bringing structure, coordination, accountability, and momentum to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and organizational priorities.
The initial focus of the position will be supporting the strategic partnership between OU and CHE and the work associated with advancing a nationally recognized Academic Medical Center (AMC). In this capacity, the Executive Project Manager will coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, governance activities, and cross-functional workstreams spanning academic, clinical, research, education, finance, legal, and operational areas.
More broadly, the position requires a highly skilled project manager who can translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, facilitate collaboration across complex organizations, identify and address risks and dependencies, and ensure projects remain aligned, organized, and on schedule.
