Responsible for overseeing cross-functional team members supporting different engineering programs to complete their assigned tasks, including the engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams; management responsibility for internal and external program deliverables including APQP milestone reporting, CAPEX financial management and reporting, design development, monitoring tool and component deliveries, monitor pre-production and production deliveries, customer approvals, and tool payment collection; manage tooling investment tracking and coordinate customer tooling payment reimbursement in accordance with contractual milestone agreements; provide management for all relevant tasks in compliance with our APQP process; control and manage budgets, achieving targets according to yearly objectives; manage customer requests and changes; oversee and support customer RFQ tasks including all necessary documentation, project cost and timing control, control of status and activities of other departments according to project timing and progress, and the identification of critical project tasks; confirms component availability and delivery during the development phases of the project, and ensure subcomponent suppliers are sourced in accordance with project timing and meet project timing objectives; follow-up on relevant project documentation, including documentation related to project timeline and APQP documents; coordinate prototype and pre-production deliveries to the customer along with relevant approval documentation; support the definition of tools and equipment for prototype and series production including implementation according to project planning; support development to achieve the customer specifications, ensuring DFMEA and PFMEA creation and adherence; coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams and external project meetings; manage and control the launch activities considering the customer's and TI Automotive’s plant input on program timing, design, and quality through the entire launch process in direct agreement with the Launch Manager and plant personnel; utilize and apply knowledge of IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, CAPEX, RFQ offer preparation, Change Management, PLM systems, MS Project, automotive OEMs management, and Control Plan to complete tasks; prepare and present program review documents to senior management, including executive escalations to Chief Officers as needed; manage and distribute Activity Reports exhibiting the team’s progress to meet the delivery dates; manage customer open issues lists and negotiate TI Automotive’s needs and approvals with the customer, including leading customer escalations when they occur; coordinate with TI Automotive's global manufacturing plants across multiple countries to align program timing, quality standards, and launch readiness with OEM customer requirements for project specific topics; lead, coordinate, and represent TI Automotive in customer meetings, including milestone gate reviews, design reviews, and executive-level escalation sessions; manage approval and release of engineering drawings and 3D CAD data through PLM system to ensure timely closure of customer design approvals; and execute Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions at customer-required levels, managing all required documentation packages, Part Submission Warrants (PSW), and customer portal submissions to obtain production approval.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree - Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, or related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
