Engineer, develop, and improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes, production equipment, and quality systems, applying QA techniques, SAP QM module/web -based QIM, to increase OEE, and support high volume production of door modules, carrier plates, latch systems, and cooling fan modules for delivery to OEM customers. Perform process engineering for automated assembly and welding lines to increase OEE, improve First Time Quality, reduce scrap/warranty claims, and ensure compliance with customer/IATF 16949 standards. Perform engineering analysis of component production performance, use DMAIC methodology and statistical tools including Pareto Analysis, Process Capability (Cpk), Process Performance (Ppk), Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R), Design of Experiments (DOE), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Minitab analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Perform direct production quality audits, EHS audits, and Layered Process Audits. Bachelor, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related. Twelve months’ experience as Engineer or related, performing engineering analysis of component production performance using tools including Process Capability (Cpk) and Process Performance (Ppk) studies, and variation analysis, to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions, or related.
