About the job:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead office operations, administration, facilities, and HR support functions for our Michigan headquarters. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient day-to-day business operations while fostering a productive, compliant, and employee-friendly workplace. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with leadership, HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, administration, and facilities management.
- Manage office infrastructure, maintenance, supplies, equipment, and workspace planning.
- Supervise vendor relationships, service contracts, procurement, and cost optimization.
- Ensure workplace safety, security, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Support HR operations, including onboarding, orientation, documentation, employee records, and offboarding.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs, company events, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities.
- Manage office budgets, operational expenses, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
- Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and leadership teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain office assets, inventory, and facility-related documentation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, executive meetings, visitor management, and corporate events.
- Support audits, compliance activities, background verification, and company documentation.
- Develop and improve operational processes, SOPs, and administrative workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee administrative and office-related support.
- Drive a positive workplace culture through effective communication and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- 8–12+ years of experience in Office Operations, Administration, Facilities, or HR Operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience in an IT Consulting or Technology Services organization is preferred.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, budgeting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ERP systems.
