Job Opportunity: Cook for Senior Living Community-Part-time/Full-time at Traverse City, Michigan 49868

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous cooking, food service, restaurant, healthcare, or senior-living experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Basic knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safe food-handling practices.
Ability to follow menus, recipes, portion guidelines, and special dietary instructions.
Ability to prepare and serve meals in a timely manner.
Dependable with reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working with and interacting respectfully with senior residents.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must successfully complete required background screening and employee health requirements.
Must complete required orientation, food-safety, and position-specific training.
Ability to work scheduled weekends and holidays as needed.
ServSafe certification preferred, but not required
