Crawford County Transportation Authority is looking for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our team, 5 days a week!
Wage: $30–$33/hr (very competitive!)
What we're looking for:
CDL preferred (P endorsement is a plus)
Diesel and Gas Motor Vehicle Mechanic certification preferred in areas such as: Engine Repair, Automatic/Manual Transmission & Axles, Front End & Steering, Brakes, Electrical Systems, Heating & A/C, Engine Tune-Up/Performance, and Suspension
Computer skills preferred
Self-starter with a strong work ethic
High school diploma or GED
Hiring requirements:
Applicants must pass a criminal background check, driver's license check, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screening. Marijuana is federally illegal and is not permitted while employed.
Additional duties:
This role includes light building maintenance, including snow plowing and basic grounds upkeep.
