Essential Functions of the position:
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral in English.
- Solid foundation of basic mathematical concepts.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Good normal or corrected vision. Cannot be color blind.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds frequently, 3-5 times per hour, remove rolls and shafts from
equipment and weigh and put on skid for an eight hour shift.
- Learn to set the slitter up to order specifications.
- Run slitter at maximum rate based on quality restrictions.
- Weigh and wrap all finished product from slitter.
- Weigh and wrap all finished products from the press department.
- Properly fill out all paperwork for slitter production.
- Do any required preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that
you get along with clients, customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
Pay: $20-$26/hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- A drive to succeed with a self-starter approach and a can-do attitude
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
- instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. High
- level of measuring ability.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
